We offer a space for teachers to connect, build lifelong friendships and get the resources needed to help inspire students to learn the official, realm and international languages of Aotearoa New Zealand.

We do this by providing research-backed pedagogy, access to resources and forums, via our LMS. There you’ll also see the workshops and programmes we offer to help our teachers connect with each other as well as with our facilitators.

In the current environment, the Grant-in-aid of $500 towards language study which is a part of the Strengthening Asia-Pacific Language Teaching – North Asia programme is a huge benefit to teachers to have another means of language learning and support at this time.

CLIL - Tracing German history in Aotearoa

Out-of-class learning project - Excursion to the historical site of Puhoi village (German settlement) In this workshop, you will learn about some of the first German speaking settlers in Aotearoa. You will actively explore the Puhoi settlement and trace back its German speaking history. Additionally, you will be exposed to the CLIL (Content Language Integrated Learning) approach by applying German history in the German language learning environment.

Chinese Language Support Grant

This fund is to enhance and develop Chinese language programmes within schools.
