What we will cover

Growing Great Leaders™ 1 consists of six distinct but highly interrelated modules. These modules are all elements of the Student-centred Leadership model (Robinson, 2011), the course's key conceptual framework.

Although all aspects of the course are research informed, learning experiences are carefully designed to reflect the real world of school leaders and as such are practical, pragmatic and engaging.

During the course you will:

  • investigate what it means to be a student-centred leader and the implication of this mindset on your leadership
  • learn about relational trust,  its impact on school outcomes and ways trust can be built with others
  • understand goal theory and learn practical strategies that help ensure that your school’s  goals are achieved
  • gain practical insights complex problems and research-validated strategies for solving them
  • reflect on the quality of teaching in your school and look into practical ways of enhancing this.
