French PCT support day

Overview

This workshop is designed as a support for beginning teachers of French (first and second year).

We will look at incorporating culture into lessons, strategies on how to deal with being the only French teacher at your school, promoting French at your school and possibly in the community. Support for planning lessons and units of work will be provided as well as putting a focus on French in the New Zealand context.

Participants will also have the opportunity to share resources and get some ideas about games and “fillers” (activities for the last few minutes of lessons).
