Rachel supports the Marketing and Innovations Team as the Digital Marketing Lead. She is a Filipino-Kiwi who started her marketing career as a Junior Copywriter at an Auckland digital marketing agency Pure SEO, landing the Editor and Content Team Lead role after two years in the company, growing the team from a few to a strong dozen. She moved on to SkillsVR, a virtual reality training company, in early 2020. Here, she honed and expanded her client-side marketing repertoire as a one-man marketing band, leading various digital marketing efforts. This includes the creation of two websites (copywriting, UX, design, and SEO), social media management, website maintenance, local SEO efforts, video production and editing, blog writing, sales assets creation, RFPs, and more.

In her career, Rachel has worked with small, medium, and large enterprises across a span of many industries, e.g. government, education, banking, retail, construction and tradies, and hospitality.
