Connect with fellow teachers and share experiences and ideas from school trips to Japan. As the Japanese saying goes, "三人寄れば文殊の知恵" — or in English, "two heads are better than one" — you may inspire others and gather fresh ideas for your next trip!

About the course

Course information

When: 3:30 - 4:45 pm, Tuesday 27 May 2025

Where: Online - Zoom link will be provided to registered participants before the workshop.

Registrations open on 9 May and close on 23 May 2025 

Language: The main session (instructions and facilitation) will be conducted in Japanese. Participants are welcome to use their English or Japanese during breakout room discussions.

What we will cover

Whether you've just returned from a Japan trip, are planning one for 2026, or are starting to look ahead to 2027, this workshop is a great opportunity to connect, share, and gather fresh ideas.

Participants will join breakout room discussions to share their experiences, challenges, and lessons learned from school trips to Japan. They'll also have the chance to exchange practical ideas, discover new perspectives, and connect with fellow teachers. Participants are welcome to use either English or Japanese during discussions.

Tui Tuia | Learning Circle Languages is funded to provide professional learning for provisionally and fully registered Primary, Intermediate and Secondary teachers throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.
