Overview
Join us in Wellington for a two-day face-to-face workshop designed to help you explore the potential of AI tools to enrich your German teaching, support student learning, and spark critical discussions about the role of technology in education.
About the course
Time: This workshop runs for two full days. Participants are expected to attend both 16th and 17th August 2025, from 9am to 5pm.
Venue: Goethe-Institut New Zealand - Urban Hub 2/318 Lambton Quay, Te Aro, Wellington 6011
Registrations open on 25 June and close on 4 August 2025.
This session will address key challenges, focusing on using AI meaningfully without losing sight of language, culture, and pedagogy.
Participants will be introduced to practical tools, given time to experiment and reflect, and provided with opportunities to exchange ideas with fellow teachers. They will also discuss classroom-ready applications, ethical considerations, and ways to develop AI literacy that empowers both teachers and students.
At no cost for NZ registered teachers. Tui Tuia cannot cover any reimbursement for any travel expenses.
