Overview

This course is designed for language teachers of junior programmes to explore different language teaching approaches that suit Years 9 and 10, equip themselves with practical strategies to build learners' confidence in all language skills, and implement newly learned approaches and strategies to provide a more solid foundation for senior language programmes for their learners.

Course information

This course is relevant to language teachers involved in teaching Years 9 and 10. It is delivered through a blend of face-to-face and online workshops. Participants will also be supported by a digital learning platform for on-going inquiry and reflection.

Cost

At no cost for NZ registered teachers.

Selected participants will be advised of the location once registrations have closed. Tui Tuia | Learning Circle - Languages will pay for associated travel for teachers who are outside of the city of delivery for face-to-face workshop(s) or provide delivery online where appropriate.

Upon completion of the programme, your school can claim back the cost of two Teacher Release Days.
