In 2021, twenty-three schools in Aotearoa were successful in their applications to bring a unique Korean cultural experience to their schools and classrooms with the support from the Korean Education Centre in New Zealand (KEC).
From this year, the Korean Education Centre in New Zealand (KEC) is making this opportunity more flexible for schools and teachers to help them to fit this more easily into their busy academic schedule and timetable.
Interested schools and teachers may now be able to submit their applications from as early as Term 1 and their chosen programme can take place in their preferred school term upon successful
application and selection.
Schools and teachers may apply for one of the following programmes:
1) K-Pop Dance Class
2) Taekwondo Class
3) Traditional Experiences
4) Korean Tea Ceremony
