Overview

This course is designed to support participants in examining their existing language learning resources based on the key principles underpinning the Learning Languages area in the New Zealand Curriculum; and enhancing their existing resources and/or creating new, impactful language learning materials to make their lessons more effective for their learners.

Course information

This course is relevant to primary, intermediate and secondary teachers of all languages who are engaged in teaching students of Years 1-10. It is delivered through six online workshops. Participants will also be supported by a digital learning platform for on-going inquiry and reflection.

Cost

At no cost for NZ registered teachers.

Selected participants will be advised of the location once registrations have closed. Tui Tuia | Learning Circle - Languages will pay for associated travel for teachers who are outside of the city of delivery for face-to-face workshop(s) or provide delivery online where appropriate.

Upon completion of the programme, your school can claim back the cost of two Teacher Release Days.
