Lan Dai has been working in the School of International Chinese Studies at East China Normal University (ECNU) for the past years in Shanghai, China. She had provided courses to Chinese students who majored in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (TCFL) as well as Chinese language courses to the international students. From 2010 through 2020, Lan was in the U.S.A and Switzerland successively, promoting Chinese language and cultural exchange programs before working at the International Chinese Language Teacher Training Base affiliated to ECNU, where she has been involved in planning and delivery of the professional development for International Chinese Language teachers.

Lan is looking forward to being one of the Learning Circle, sharing her knowledge and experiences with peers in New Zealand.
