What we will cover

‘Ia ora na! Bonjour!

As part of Tui Tuia | Learning Circle’s Immersion Programmes, French teachers will have the opportunity to experience first-hand the linguistic and cultural richness of French Polynesia (Tahiti).

This immersion experience in Tahiti will allow teachers to develop their language skills, build their understanding of French communities in the Pacific and inspire them to think of Tahiti when planning a school exchange in the future.

During the 10-day séjour, teachers will attend French language classes, participate in various cultural workshops such as popular traditional Polynesian water sports (va’a) and Tahitian dance, as well as visits around the islands of Tahiti and Mo’orea. Participants will be billeted in homestay families, with 2 nights accommodation in a hotel.

Applications close on Thursday 15 December at 4pm. Applications after this date will not be considered. Please note, you and/or your principal may be contacted by Tui Tuia | Learning Circle for more information once you have applied.
