Intended for Chinese language teachers of all year levels, this workshop aims to introduce you the Chinese Folk Storytelling art form, 快板书 kuàibǎnshū.
快板书 kuàibǎnshū is a traditional Chinese rap art, which belongs to the Chinese folk art rhyme genre, a form of Chinese narrative singing accompanied by a pair of clappers.
Please join Lan Dai (Chinese National Language Adviser) and Mr. Li Li (President of New Zealand Chinese Comedy and Folk Society) to learn more about 快板书 kuàibǎnshū and how to effectively integrate this cultural element into your lessons to make your Chinese language classes more fun, culturally rich and engaging.
