get startedThe Moon Festival, also known as the Mooncake Festival, is a traditional festival celebrated in Chinese culture.
In 2022, the Moon Festival falls on Saturday 10 September.
Please join us in this hands-on workshop a week before the Moon Festival to further enhance your understanding of the festival as well as to gain some practical hands-on classroom ideas including how to make moon cakes and paper cutting. You will also get to learn how to play Guzheng 古筝 (Chinese ancient musical instrument) and share your Moon festival classroom activities with other participants.
This workshop is available at no cost and open to teachers who are teaching or interested in teaching Chinese at primary, intermediate and secondary schools.
